Accommodation will be available at the Mid City Motor Inn right in the heart of the Ballarat CBD. Cafes, antiques and shopping all within a few minutes walk of the accommodation. We have inspected the venue and believe it represents excellent value for money. The Friday night "Welcome" barbeque will be held within the Mid City Motor Inn complex. This venue also has the added benefit of car parking not being visible from the street. There is only one entry/exit and security staff will be employed in the car park overnight during the event.

Saturday will feature the "Stampede to Blampied" a fun event consisting of an easy observation rally through the picturesque Central Highlands, finishing at a local winery with a free Barbeque lunch.

For both Saturday and Sunday night dinners, guests will board free coaches with the destination being Dowling Views Function Centre at the Ballarat Racecourse. Once again we believe we have negotiated the best value for money possible. Our free coaches will be readily available for the return journey.

Sunday morning, Mustangs will gather at City Oval in the centre of Ballarat. Concours and Judged Display entrants will be parked in allocated judging areas. All other Mustangs will be parked for display on the oval. There will be no charge for non judged Mustangs to be on display.

28th July : The main accommodation venue, The Mid City Motor Inn, is now fully booked out and we are taking reservations for our secondary venue, the Barkly Motor Inn. Secure and some undercover parking is available at this venue. As of 28th July 2008 we have 18 rooms available at this venue. 6th September : We have already received confirmation and deposits on over 100 rooms for the 2009 Nationals in Ballarat, more than we have ever had previously in Victoria. The event is shaping up to be the biggest Mustang event we've ever hosted. If you have not booked and confirmed your accommodation, do so quickly as you may miss out. There is plenty to see and do in Ballarat next Easter with a major festival and several car clubs hosting Nationals in the Rural City of Ballarat, accordingly ACCOMMODATION IS HARD TO GET CLOSE TO THE CITY . 8th September :We have secured additional accommodation for the 2009 Mustang Nationals in Ballarat. We have acquired 16 rooms in a motel located in the heart of Ballarat. These rooms are priced from $160 per night ( expensive, but the best we can do) and will be available on a "first in - best dressed" basis from Wednesday the 17th of September. This brings the total rooms available to 20. This will be the last release of 2009 Nationals accommodation from which our bus service & security will operate. Please inform members that we have a lock up yard in an industrial complex for storage of car trailers, as car trailers will NOT be permitted in the parking areas of any accommodation venue.
